Square Kilometre Array Radio Telescope Antenna

Square Kilometre Array Radio Telescope Antenna

The Square Kilometre Array Radio Telescope Antenna is not merely a technological marvel; it is a gateway to the universe's mysteries. With its advanced capabilities, it promises to reveal celestial secrets hidden in the depths of space. From probing distant galaxies to studying cosmic phenomena, this antenna opens doors to a universe waiting to be explored.

Square Kilometre Array (SKA) Radio Telescope Antenna, the largest physical contribution contract signed to date by the SKA International Organization.

Building upon the testing and validation of the initial two prototype units, performance enhancements and structural upgrades were implemented. Digital analysis of the surface shape accuracy adjustments was conducted, addressing the electrical performance across the full pitch range. An innovative method was introduced involving panel adjustment threshold bias to achieve repeatability in reflector surface shape adjustments, thereby enhancing the overall electrical performance of the antenna. Leveraging structural strain energy distribution and mode analysis, weak points were identified and targeted improvements were made, resulting in an antenna resonance frequency increase to 2.5Hz.

Embark on a cosmic journey with us as we delve into the limitless potential of the Square Kilometre Array Radio Telescope Antenna.
