Phased Array Feed Parabolic Reflector Antenna Technology Features
It utilizes a parabolic ring array multi-beam antenna configuration to achieve wide- angle beam coverage, with 5 phased array feed sources placed along the feed source orbit arc.
In the azimuth plane, mechanical tracking is combined with electronic scanning, resulting in small beam spacing and fast tracking speeds.
By designing the array size appropriately, a single phased array feed source can achieve beam coverage with azimuth ±2.5° and elevation ±2°. When combined with mechanical tracking, the entire antenna system can achieve beam coverage with azimuth ±60° and elevation ±2°.
It can achieve wide bandwidth, multi-target tracking and monitoring, and large- angle beam coverage.
The beam tracking speed is fast, with small beam spacing and high tracking accuracy.
The main antenna structure remains stationary, with only the receiving system and feed source drive requiring power, resulting in low power consumption. It is designed to be concealed, taking advantage of its proximity to natural features or structures for added stealth.
