  • Standard sheets are 24” x 24” (61 cm x 61 cm)
  • Thickness depends upon the lowest desired frequency of operation required
  • SMARTNOBLE® AN is available in other sizes and customer specified configurations, incorporating miter cuts or attachment to metal parts
  • Can be manufactured, on special order, on a mandrel, to take a contoured shape.

EMC Component Material Characteristics
•Lightweight, flexible, broadband, open-cell, polyurethane foam absorber
•Carbon loaded, laminated polyurethane sheets
•Frequency range from 600 MHz -40 GHz
•Designed to reflect less than -20 dB of normal incident energy above specified frequencies and relative to a metal plate
•Does not support fungal growth per MIL-STD-810E
•Can be readily cut on a band saw, with scissors, die, or a sharp knife
Application
  • Anechoic chamber (no echo chamber, microwave anechoic chamber, EMC anechoic chamber, etc.).
  • Radio anechoic box
  • Absorbing screen and wall, etc.
  • Covering the reflector of test environment, reducing background noise, eliminating clutter interference and improving test accuracy;
  • Indoor use, not outdoor, service life of 15 years. The working temperature is - 50 +80℃, the short time can reach 120℃, the power capacity is 1 kw/m², and the short time is 1.5 kw/m².

  • In a wide frequency range, it has good attenuation performance of vertical incidence, oblique incidence, scattering and transmission.
  • When oblique incident angle is within 30, Rw does not change much.
  • The performance decreases with the increase of incident angle. When the angle is 60, the difference of Rw is 10-15 dB than that of vertical incidence
